Creative Slogans

A slogan is a memorable advertising tag-line or motto used by advertisers to visually express the importance and/or benefits of a certain product. Slogans will not only help sell a product to customers, it should also make a deep impression on their minds.

How to create a slogan:

Keep it simple. Use proven words and short keywords.

Make it memorable. The best taglines or slogans are still being used, even though they were launched many years ago.

Make it different. In an overcrowded market, companies in the same industry or niche can set themselves apart with a creative and original slogan.

Identify. A good slogan must stay consistent with the brand name either stated obviously or strongly implied. The name of your business is usually attached

Reveal the benefits. Reveal the benefits of the product by using consumer language. Create a positive feeling for the consumers and suggest the risk of not using the product.

The best slogans have one thing in common . . . they are all 7 words or less!

Do you recognize the following slogans?

“Obey your thirst”

“American by birth. Rebel by choice”

“Impossible is nothing”

“Let your fingers do the walking”

“Quality never goes out of style”

“Connecting People”

“Make believe”

“Melts in your mouth, not in your hands”

“But it. Sell it. Love it”

BlackHat Original Content

I just received a few long spam comments in the form of SEO advices. I wasn’t wrong to consider them to be spam content, but something looked strange. I tried to google a paragraph and it leads nowhere! Looking closer, I discovered what made the text “original”. The author used special characters to replace certain letters in the text, but avoided to replace the characters inside targeted keywords (that gave him away).

Examples:

κ instead of

ω instead of W

ρ instead of P

Is this a common technique to generate “fresh” content?

Advertising is a way of showing people your product and eventually persuade them to buy the product you are selling.

Advertising enables us to afford such “luxuries” like TV and newspapers, because without it, they would be considerably more expensive.

And in a funny note

Advertising is that thing that’s annoying and deceitful and annoying…

Advertising persuades people to buy things they don’t need and be wasteful.
