Pumpkin carving tips:
Bigger pumpkins are easier to carve.
You don’t have to take off the top, you can also take off the bottom or the back of the pumpkin.
Draw the face first. If you don’t like it, erase and draw it again.
Use a nail to score the carving lines on the pumpkin. Connect the dots as you carve.
Pumpkins last longer if you dip them in a bleach.
Battery candles or tea lights safer than regular candles.
Keep the seeds. Toasted pumpkin seeds are easy to make, delicious and healthy.
