After Canada being awesome in a video protest against Russian anti-gay propaganda, Norway’s XXL All Sports United came out with one of the most hilarious ads against Russia’s anti-gay propaganda law – XXL Airport Love.

When it comes to the portrayal and treatment of women in the media, we have come a long way since the Mad Men eraCulture, media, and laws have changed since the days women were depicted as too stupid to drive, vote or open a bottle of ketchup.

Yet, some advertisers didn’t seem to get the memo. Even today, advertising doesn’t try very hard to conform to moral standards.
